Open Question: Prescription Meds on Holy Week?
Open Question: Prescription meds on Holy Week?
I’m new to becoming more religious. I’m Eastern Orthodox Christian, so our holy week is now and I’m fasting for the week for my first time. I know its strict against drinking alcohol, but long story short my best friend is leaving for a year and although he’s highly addicted to strong opiate painkillers (oxymorphone), I abuse them every now and then (around 5 times a month, I have strong willpower). I would like to snort painkillers with him today the last day I see him, but would this anger god or is strictly forbidden?
@Take these words: I told you, I’m eastern christian not western catholic. For us, easter is on the 15th, a week after western easter.
